Walking from The Black Venus Inn and exploring Exmoor by the sea…

Before or after your meal…
There are a number of scenic walks in the vicinity of The Black Venus Inn and the pub is a perfect start and end point as it offers a large car park and offers a great selection of hot and cold lunch options for the hungry rambler. Also, we don't mind a muddy boot or two and you can even bring your dog - Everybody is welcome!

Need to stay a little longer?…
A short distance from the pub we can highly recommend booking a stay with Exmoor Cottage Holidays. All dog friendly they have five beautiful self-catering holiday cottages. The stone-built holiday letting cottages have recently been renovated (retaining many period features) and are warm, comfortable and well-equipped. They all have a real log fire or stove in the living room and a private enclosed patio or garden outside. Converted from a farm, the cottages surround a charming courtyard, and in the beautiful grounds is an exclusive children's playground and a delightful walk around Humphrey's Hill, with lovely views. Within 300 yards is a handy general store and Post Office and The Black Venus Inn.
